Adrian - The Watts parallel is the sharpest frame I've encountered for what's happening to institutional authority — including in the boardrooms I work with, where "having an AI strategy" has become the new pagan rite. They're trying to govern a collapse they helped produce, with tools designed for the world that's leaving.

Your Q11 point on the Global South lands hardest. @Stefan Wolff and I built @Navigating the Vortex specifically because we think the US-China-Europe frame doesn't just miss most of the world — it distorts it. When you write that the governance conversation is "constructed, partly deliberately, partly by inertia, to keep them absent," that's true of most strategic intelligence products, not just AI policy.

The accountability test in Q8 — can you sign your name, take the consequences, stand the cross-examination? — should be the first sentence of every editorial brief. That it isn't explains a lot.
